“We had a great experience with Better World Builders. They did a thorough energy audit and explained both the process and the results clearly. They used the information from the audit to create a list of projects that could improve our house's energy efficiency (and save us money while reducing greenhouse gas emissions). The project lists were organized so we could do them in the best sequence to get the most bang for our buck, and included transparent cost information. BWB foam-sealed the sill plate in our basement, sealed our attic, replaced/upgraded the attic insulation, and improved the airflow from our soffit vents to the roof ridge vent. That made the house much more efficient, which reduced the size (and cost) of the new hybrid heat-pump furnace we had installed. BWB workers did meticulous work and paid careful attention to cleanup at the end of each day during the multi-day attic project. The office staff handled the paperwork to get rebates and discounts from Consumers Energy as well as providing us with 'eligible cost' statements so we can get tax rebates next April.
